We Think Greener
Sydenhams Hire are always looking for further ways to help the environment.
We are a strong believer in in promoting the benefits of hiring rather than buying - Our equipment and machines are well serviced and looked after, so could be used on hundreds of jobs, rather than the purchase of one machine for one job.
Since 2020, we have been adding environmentally friendly wash bays to our branches. These bays recycle rain water for use with washing down equipment reducing the need for mains water.
New additions to our range are aimed to fit in alongside our current recycling methods, including:
- Waste oil and filters
- Rubber digger tracks
- Cardboard
- Metal
- Even the mud from our machines
At Sydenhams Hire we understand that we need to constantly look at ways to improve our methods of working to make us even more environmentally friendly. By looking at all the new advances in technology we aim to update our machines when possible to make our footprint on this planet slightly less.
